We offer  private lessons to students age 7 through adults as well as a Kidzrock program for children from 4 to 7 years old.

We have a qualified team of instructors who will teach you the songs you want to learn.

We are dedicated to providing quality instruction customized to the needs and goals of all our students. All of our teachers have either university training; years of professional performance experience or both and can grow with you as you progress from beginner, intermediate to advanced levels. You’ll never have to worry about “out-growing your teacher”.

We offer a comfortable waiting area for parents, family members and friends.

With nearly 4000 square feet we have the most spacious and parent friendly waiting area in NEPA. Instead of waiting in a store or your car, our clients enjoy a spacious, professional parent’s lounge with comfortable chairs, awesome music memorabilia, Free Wi-Fi, and magazines. We also provide large observation windows on every room so that you can watch your child’s lesson while you wait. Or if you prefer you can sit in on their lesson anytime you like.

The most technologically advanced and fully stocked music lesson rooms in the Wilkes-Barre area!

Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons, including amps, stereos, full drum kits, pianos, keyboards, and more. All you need to bring is your instrument. We have set up our school to offer soundproofing and large observation windows.

Technology is a big part of the lesson experience here at Rockology. This allows students to have a modern and engaging lesson using musical educational software, Garageband, You Tube, and more. Feel free to “Bring Your Own Device” to your lesson in addition to your instrument.

Rock Band performances in house and in public spaces around town.

Every parent just wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it is to have their child participate in a Live Band performance. Shows will be offered to students progressing through the system who join our Live Band Program. Our bands have already played at the F.M. Kirby Center, Mohegan Sun Arena for the WBS Penguins, Record Store Day ay Gallery of Sound, the Wilkes-Barre Fine Arts Fiesta and more.

Because of our central location, Rockology Music Academy is convenient to all areas of NEPA, with easy access from all major roads. Located in Joe Amato’s East End Centre and we have unlimited free parking just outside our door. Close to Rockology, you will find great shopping, dining and plenty of great places to visit while your child is at their lesson with us or just relax in our lounge.

Year-Round Lessons

Music lessons are offered year round, because that is the best way to learn music and also makes it easy to start lessons when YOU are ready! You won’t have to worry about missing lessons during your summer vacation because Joe Nardone’s Rockology has an awesome make-up lesson policy.

Awesome FREE Make-Up Lessons

If you need to miss your lesson because you are sick, on vacation, or whatever, you can sign up for free group make-up lessons. That’s right, free!

No Long-Term Contract.

Joe Nardone’s Rockology does not require semester minimums for lessons. You can start anytime! After the student’s first two months of lessons, subsequent lessons are on a month-to-month basis. If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to learn. We will not commit you to a long-term contract.

Tuition Starts At $99 per month

We offer 30 minute lessons for students at the same time each week.
We also offer upgrades to 60 minute lessons for more established players or those serious about advancing. Our instructors will advise students on their lesson plans.

Rockology Rock Band Program

The Rock Band Program is the ultimate supplement to the Rockology Music Academy experience and your child’s musical journey.
The classes are open to Rockology students ages 8-20 who are able to play or sing a few songs on their instrument.

SIX hours of music training each month (weekly 90 minute Rockology band classes and weekly 30 minute private lessons)
Spacious rehearsal area called The Jam Room with a stage and full PA system.
Affordable $69 add-on monthly tuition for school students enrolled in private lessons for the weekly 90 minute class.  Students who may have taken lessons elsewhere and pass an audition with our staff can join the program for a $99 monthly fee.
